I purchased a Moneypak carte du jour to load funds on to a card of mine. I have two that are eligible according to the site. It has now been nearly iii hours since I purchased the carte du jour and instead of getting the expect twenty-30 minutes error, I am getting "We're lamentable for the inconvenience just nosotros're unable to process your asking at this fourth dimension. Please try again afterward." I endeavor calling the back up number, put in the numbers information technology asks, and information technology says my nascency date is invalid(????). There is admittedly no help, no actual person to contact, and now I am out over $200, and severely unhappy. Unless I feel like waiting 1-ii weeks to see if I can become a refund. Will not be using this service always once again or recommending it to anyone.

I bought a prepaid Green Dot bill of fare and loaded $50 on it. I was told to either download the app or go to the website to register my card. I did both.. I never received a verification lawmaking thru my text to complete my process with my menu. I accept tried then many fourth dimension now it's saying I have reach the maximum tries, told me to endeavor again later. I can't get in contact with a alive person, that I'm so upset about this. I put that coin on that card considering I was trying to gild a birthday gift. I don't have coin to just throw away. Light-green Dot is non a adept choice when buying prepaid cards. Does anybody know how to file a lawsuit on this then called company!??? I purchased a Dark-green Dot carte then I could receive direct deposits each week from my piece of work. I used my temporary bill of fare account info at first, and that was fine. When I registered online to receive a personalized card it was suppose to get in in the mail 7-ten business days! After it had been over 2 weeks I called them considering I still hadn't received it and wanted to notice out what the problem was..?? They told me it should arrive whatsoever twenty-four hour period. After a month had gone by I called over again and was told the same affair, instead this time the idiot representative took it upon herself to issue me a new card, which makes both my temporary carte and the card that should exist arriving "whatsoever day" useless!!!! Then at present all of MY money isn't accessible!!!! What a SCAM!!!! Do non utilise Green Dot!!!!

I haven't been able to activate my card that I purchased at Rite Aid with cash. I tried via the app and didn't receive a text message..then at that place appeared a bulletin telling me I sent to many requests so could not receive texts. I tried calling just was only able to reach an automated service telling me either my card number was invalid or to use the online process. This has been going on for two days. I'm wondering if this card is real or perchance a scam to but take my hard earned dollars.

Nosotros have only had this card for 2 weeks. Put $300 cash deposit no problem. One time a straight deposit from PAYROLL striking the account for $700, they immediately locked information technology. When we showtime called they said we needed to give them drivers license and deposit slip to unlock account. When asked why, they first told us they COULD Non tell united states of america why. Called again, they said name didn't match, when we chosen them out on the lie, they admitted it was "standard process" to lock business relationship. No one spoke good English and nosotros have NEVER had a account locked because of a deposit. Apparently you lot aren't allowed to talk to supervisors either. We will be reporting to fraud department and also opening a lawsuit if they do not release our money they are fraudulently belongings. GET A LAWYER people!!

I deposited coin Sun for $300. Still do not have my money in my business relationship. I had to call CS who and so tells me, "Aye I can take care of information technology from here." I give him all the numbers from the receipt and then tells me, "Now I demand you to email a copy of the receipt to ** Reference # **." I telephone call again Monday. CS says, "Oh your case is closed. Money will be in your account five:thirty pm". I check. Guess what - not there. So I call again today. At present they tell me, "Oh the receipt you sent me they can't see it." I'm looking at the receipt with my kids and wife. Everybody tin see the numbers. I also go to the Walgreens where I deposited and they also gave me a receipt that the transaction went thru with everything to bear witness information technology went through.
This how they treat customers. They lie to yous through CS, not a damn email saying, "Hey we're trying to go this resolved." Nix. You have to call. They lie offset then they say, "Oh we can't run into the receipt." When information technology's in daylight and you can encounter everything on the card. I've already contacted my attorney. I will continue to write negative reviews until I get my deposit that was needed for my kid in College Summer schoolhouse. Information technology's a disgrace and they phone call this like shooting fish in a barrel to deposit and the client service is atrocious. Please anybody that'south reading this do not ever buy from Green Dot ever. They practise not care virtually customers and they will not get back to you. Nobody should have to go through this always.

I purchased a Dark-green Dot prepaid visa from Safeway and put $250 on it for a father'south mean solar day gift. After my father called the number on the bill of fare and registered it he was unable to use it to purchase anything so nosotros called the customer service number. After entering the advisable information into their automated service information technology said that it had not been registered yet and was only capable of making impersonal transactions, which is pretty much no transactions at all. Then I went to their website and created an account for him and registered the card to that account. This unrestricted the carte and nosotros idea everything was skillful.
Subsequently 13 days he attempted to employ the $250 to pay for office of a home depot purchase only the card was declined. And so we attempted to use the Light-green Dot phone app to see what was going but when attempting to login on the app it gives an error bulletin stating "You need to log into GreenDot.com to access your account." Then the phone app is completely useless! So I logged onto his account at GreenDot.com only to find out that there was only $240.05 on the business relationship and nosotros had been charged a $7.95 monthly maintenance fee. MONTHLY MAINTENANCE FEE OF $eight AFTER 13 DAYS! This is past far the worst prepaid menu I have ever dealt with. Their customer service is a completely automated service and in that location is admittedly no mode to speak to an actual person!

To begin, I had few issues with using Green Dot. I know you lot will not receive the nearly impeccable service as you would with a bank, only at to the lowest degree they were providing what I needed - a debit bill of fare, direct deposit and the power to deposit checks mobile. I deposited my first check in Feb-March 2019 with no problem. In June, I received a money order and attempted to deposit it with no avail. Prior to depositing, I made sure that money orders were able to be deposited and they were.
Later a day and a half of failed mobile deposit attempts and several error msgs, I contacted client service. The first rep told me to send pictures of the front end and dorsum of the check along with the mistake msg to an email and brash I become somewhere to cash it. After realizing I wrote "for mobile deposit only" on the back of the check I called dorsum concerned, hoping that someone would care plenty to review my electronic mail or at least have plenty expertise to tell me how to become around having "for mobile deposit simply" on the back - none of that happened. I was rushed off the phone after the rep suggested I try to cash it or accept the issuer issue me a new check.
For this horrible customer service experience I volition be closing my account in one case this check manner is resolved. It would not have taken any extra effort to pull up the email and rectify the effect. I'm sure it was a system error and if they would've saw the picture of the check information technology would've been accepted and deposited. The mobile deposit photographic camera does not flash or zoom in for larger checks so maybe that was the issue. Who knows. I'g very disappointed and will exist taking my business to a local bank then I won't take to bargain with these prepaid card hustlers.

Purchased MoneyPak to about pay scam electric invoice. While verified in time before I sent it, I nevertheless cannot become my money out of MoneyPak. They don't tell you in advance that you need to supply your social security number and download a photograph ID. Once you do, to attempt sending money out of organisation, I "failed" to correctly identify the reCaptcha icons even though the screen did not show up until the 7th endeavour. Still trying to deposit held funds to debit menu but screen over again freezes when I press "deposit to carte du jour". Tried on both PC and MAC. Phone call center is press 1 for this, press 2 for that... no human intervention or assistance. I now take a very expensive piece of cardboard that I can't access. Do Not ever use this company.

We've been Green Dot card holders for almost 10 years! This past calendar month someone withdrew $k from our carte du jour and when I followed the directions and sent information technology in (because they said the electronic mail didn't work) I was denied! I was so upset! When I chosen in I was told I had to prove that I wasn't in the state the transaction was made! At present I had to impress everything and highlight charges we actually made in Las Vegas on the same day and my time bill of fare to Bear witness I was in land! The customer service rep was zero help with giving me ideas on what to provide! There has to be an easier way! I accept never had a trouble with these guys until now! So we canceled our carte du jour. Got new ones but I took our direct deposit off of it because if this is the service I go from fraud no give thanks you! So disappointed! I am now sending in the supposed PROOF just I'thousand not feeling hopeful!

So frustrating! Bought the card and tried to register it. Completed the course multiple times and it stated I needed to submit a "valid phone number". After 3 tries, it stated that I accept made as well many attempts. "Try again subsequently". Information technology is now 3 days later, and it withal gives me the same message of "try again afterwards". I tried to contact them at their customer service phone number, and an automated response told me to go to their website and annals the card. Then it hangs up. NO HELP AT ALL. This is patently a scam that will not allow me to access MY Money! I purchased the GreenDot prepaid card for overseas transactions. It seemed similar a expert idea as even if it is compromised, you can just lose the amount on that card instead of your bank account. On the back of the Greenish Dot card, y'all will see the list of services. It lists Foreign Transactions and lists a fee of 3% of transaction. That is ok, and I accepted and loaded $200.00 onto the carte du jour for utilize. Only... when I went to employ the carte du jour for a specific purchase, it was refused. I called Green Dot customer intendance and was told that they volition not handle strange transactions due to fraud.
I read the Green Dot policies and it does state that "if you are dissatisfied with their service you may asking a check for your rest exist sent to your mailing address and the carte volition be canceled. I requested the bank check and a counterfoil of the carte three times, both through electronic mail and phone chat. Dark-green Dot has refused to mail me a check on all three occasions and has informed me that Ï will have to "spend down" the balance and and so request a cancellation. This volition cost me extra fees for each transaction and a cancellation fee. I would not recommend Green Dot to anyone.

Not happy with this card at all! I merely purchased the card terminal night to send my daughter funds (this was an extreme emergency) only to wake up and discover that a $seven.95 monthly service fee has been deducted and I've had the card less than 24 hours. Non to mention in that location was a fee included in the initial purchase. Light-green Dot you need to make people aware when they buy the card instead of blindsiding them with high fees every bit soon as they swipe the bill of fare. I will no longer utilize Green Dot nor will I recommend to friends and family!

I bought a MoneyPak this morn to load onto my Chime card from my local Kroger. Generally I cull to go direct to the cashier instead of spending the actress $6 to load coin but this morning I needed to accept an Uber to pick up my car keys that were left at a friend's house and client service wasn't open up. My start attempt at loading it told me I had to expect xx-30 minutes after buy, that's understandable. I wait the allotted time and after I attempt once more and I get an error message telling me to delight complete the missing values. After retrying 200+ times I'k completely fed up and about to crush my phone with one hand.
What'south even more abrasive is that client service doesn't be. I tin can't speak with a live person for help. I've been extremely pleased with Greenish Dot products until today. At present I'one thousand non only out the $50 I spent to load my card but I had to miss a 24-hour interval of piece of work because I tin can't Uber due to the fact that I tin't load money into my card. It'southward absolutely ludicrous to me that you guys don't have customer service reps live and ready to assist. I submitted a complaint on the Green Dot website so who knows how long that volition accept. I really promise I'm able to recover my lost coin.

I bought my Green Dot card and loaded it hoping to purchase something online with information technology. It'due south been nigh a week and every day I try to use it and it says it's invalid. I've tried on many websites all dissimilar ways and each time information technology keeps saying the card is invalid. So I called the "customer care line" and it gets me literally NOWHERE! I put my card number in and it takes it, and then my social and says that's invalid! Then I endeavor again and it says my bill of fare number is invalid? How when it only took it?? I feel like I was just robbed of my money!!! Taking out the monthly charges when I tin can't even access my Own MONEY! I CHOSE to use this company and now I REGRET my decision!!! I purchased a Green Dot reloadable prepaid card for my husband to use to make online purchases. I thought it would be safer than using the card linked to our banking account. When my husband went online to register the card, he received an error message that said they were unable to verify his identity even though he provided his social security number too equally the other information that was requested. He is now beingness told he cannot employ the bill of fare to make whatsoever purchases other than face to face. He cannot receive greenbacks dorsum either. I am and then confused by this. That is our money, yet nosotros cannot use it every bit intended. Additionally, nosotros were charged a service fee for a service nosotros purchased but cannot use. All we want is our money dorsum! Unfortunately, information technology looks similar I volition have to enquire our country attorney general for help. To avert this hassle, do non apply Green Dot!

I experience like the transaction fees are a little to much at $3.00 each fourth dimension I put in over 2,000 dollars a month and a good clamper gos to fees, I really like having my Green Dot bill of fare simply information technology's taking a toll on the pocket so possibly if you could do like a one fourth dimension fee for qualifying card holders that would be awesome. I would definitely appreciate that I a lot. Thanks. Please consider my input on the survey.

My kid bought a card for herself. She thought it was like a debit card. When she came home I read the instructions of the bill of fare. After the $1.95 purchased cost they take the instruction on the bill of fare you accept to pay $ix.95 per month. No this is unacceptable. They should put this in front of the card for people to read. I have called 10 times trying to cancel this and to get my money dorsum with no luck! There is no customer service rep available. I take not annals the card yet because they ask you for your social number. Why is this? I also send a messenger thru Facebook with no luck. I want my money back please.

I am having a hard time reaching everyone in client service with MoneyPak. Final Saturday June 15th I purchased a MoneyPak carte. Waited 20 minutes to load and kept getting a deposit failed bulletin. And then then I did the email customer service and also chosen. I was told that there was a technical problem with my account and I should be getting a refund. Since so I have emailed and tried calling with no results. I'g nevertheless waiting for my refund. It was $140. I already alive paycheck to paycheck and this hurts.

I bought a card at Walmart and put money on it and had no problems. So I decided to accept my SSD payments direct deposited. I verified my identity and where the coin was deposited from only they still froze my account and are trying to hold the money. After a calendar week and a half of back and forth with their incompetent, unhelpful and just downward right lying (even the supervisor was an unhelpful jerk) customer service reps they are trying to keep my coin. Trouble is I notified social security so they tin can investigate it because co-ordinate to SSI it'south illegal to hold money that came from the United states of america Treasury after I gave you all my documents. The coin should have been sent dorsum to the US Treasury to exist reissued to me.
1 way or another the government is going to have their money back from this so chosen bank that's been stealing peoples money since at to the lowest degree 2012. I should have done my research on Green Dot offset just in the stop you lot get to deal with the government cause you aint keeping my money. Too I have all the emails of documents saved and calls I put in as proof.

My bill of fare was stolen and I had reported it to Dark-green Dot via telephone and via snailmail equally instructed. I was issued a new card and my stolen card was airtight. Even so there was a $459 charged on my account to T-Mobile that I did not authorized and so I disputed the charges. I don't have a T-Mobile business relationship BTW. After 7 days of "investigation" my merits was denied. I was never contacted by anyone from the company to get more than information. All they did was ship me a deprival letter stating that after a full investigation they determined that this was an authorized charged and they will not exist refunding the charges.
If any real investigation was washed they would know that I do not have a T-Mobile account and have never fabricated whatsoever payments to them. If they investigated they would run into that the payments was to a phone service that does not belong to me. Patently this is an ongoing problem with this company and I will exist closing my account. I don't experience safety or trust this establishment.
